Jennylyn Mercado recently celebrated her birthday last May 15, Tuesday. She also just had a simple wish: to be healthy always and explained why she didn’t want to get sick. Jennylyn also expressed her happiness on starring in The Cure. She remained focused on the series and doesn’t take any projects that could possibly clash with shooting days.
According to Vinia Vivar’s article in Journal Online, Jennylyn also only wished to remain healthy for her family.
“Basta huwag lang akong magkasakit. Maging healthy lang kami palagi. Kasi mag-isa lang ako, eh, so ayokong nagkakasakit para sa family ko, kasi mahirap maging single mom, so kailangan laging healthy.”
Jennylyn also went on a short vacation in between shooting days for The Cure. After the vacation, she immediately went back to work. She revealed that she is focused on The Cure and doesn’t take projects that could clash with her schedule with it. Jennylyn also disclosed that her movie with Reality Films may start filming next year,
“Dito muna kami sa The Cure. Kasi medyo madugo po siya, eh. Medyo malalaki ’yung mga eksena. Kaya pagkauwi mo, talagang kailangan mong magpahinga na.”
Jennylyn expressed her happiness in working with Tom Rodriguez and the positive feedback she receives.
“Siyempre masaya kami, proud din kami na kami rin ’yung unang gumawa nito, ng ganitong klase ng konsepto sa isang show sa telebisyon. So masaya at excited kami talaga. Sana ma-excite rin ang mga tao at panoorin din nila. Hindi lang ’yung mapag-usapan ba, try nilang panoorin.”
