Sharlene San Pedro and Nash Aguas will soon have a movie together to be called “Class of 2018.” They will work together with co-Goin’ Bulilit original members CJ Navato and Kristel Fulgar.
It didn’t occur to Sharlene that she will be leading her own movie soon and considering the fact that “Class of 2018” is a big project with a unique story.
“Sobrang nakakagulat po kasi first time lead rin namin sa film. Medyo matagal-tagal na rin since na naka-acting ako kasi puro ginagawa ko po ngayon hosting sa MYX,” she remarked. “nagulat ako kasi sabi ko ito ‘yung story na kakaiba na hindi pa talaga nakikita sa Philippines kaya sobrang excited po.”
Nash Aguas hopes that their fans will give their full support for the upcoming movie. The movie is kind of a dream come true for NashLene fans because they’ve been crying for the two young artists to have a love tandem on screen.
“Nagkaroon po kami ng NashLene fans kahit wala naman po kaming love team. So nakakapagtaka po kasi parang ever since po na-enter ako sa showbiz, siya po ‘yung kasama ko sa SCQ (Star Circle Quest),” says Nash. “So, parang sabi nga ni direk, nostalgic ‘yung feeling kapag nakikita kaming magkasama.”
The two former-Goin’ Bulilit stars promised that the movie will be something they’ve never seen before. It’s the type of movie you don’t normally see in the Philippines.
According to Sharlene, “Ngayon kasi kahit ako as a viewer, kapag nanonood ako sa Netflix, ‘yon ‘yung hinahanap ko, ‘yung hindi ko pa napapanood. So itong film na ito, hindi ko pa siya napapanood sa Philippine cinema.”
“In a way, kung familiar kayo sa tema ng Riverdale, gano’n ‘yung theme, ‘yung may pagka-dark, drama, rom-com,” Nash added.
