- JC de Vera announces his role in “The General’s Daughter”

JC de Vera will have a very busy second half of 2018 and deserves a pat in the back.
Currently, the actor is present in an on-going series “Since I Found You”, a host and character in the Sunday gag show “Banana Sundae” and, at the same time, shooting an unannounced independent film.
Apparently, he’s not done yet. He revealed last Sunday on ABS-CBN news that he will play a significant role on Angel Locsin’s upcoming series “The General’s Daughter.” We will be seeing a new version of JC in this series. The romantic and comedy actor will play the role of a soldier.
“Very, very serious and dedicated soldier ako. Very passionate. Binibigay ko lahat for my country, for my job. Mataas ‘yung tingin ko sa ginagawa ko that’s why I am so passionate with everything I do,” describing his character.
He also added a sneak peek on his role, and quite a reveal that Angel Locsin fans can’t miss. He said, “Ako ‘yung love interest ni Angel Locsin. Siya ‘yung field medic namin, tapos ako ‘yung captain niya.”
The taping starts next month. Other than JC de Vera, the project will also include a powerhouse cast namely Maricel Soriano, Eula Valdes, Janice de Belen and Albert Martinez. And rumors revolved that Paulo Avelino and Ryza Cenon will also form part of the crew.
“The General’s Daughter” is expected to replace Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” this October if the latter will not be extended (again).
