Kris Aquino recently expressed her understanding towards Asec. Mocha Uson. The two also had a social media feud. President Rodrigo Duterte had kissed an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) which caused outrage from netizens.
As a response, Mocha also posted a video of late Senator Ninoy Aquino receiving kisses from two other women. This, then led to Kris clapping back.
Kris also wrote how humility remains very hard for her. Then, she shared how her parents would be proud of knowing she had fought for them. She also imagined what would they do if they’re still alive.
“Humility is VERY HARD for me… i am loving, generous, & hard working. But in my world to WIN- you need to 100% believe in yourself. Kailangan magtiwala ka ng bongga sa sarili para pagkatiwalaan ka… i went to the Feast of the Sacred Heart Mass Friday night- my mom was a devotee, 1 of her last gifts for me was a Sacred Heart of Jesus. I spent time thinking- ma pa-proud ba ang Mom & Dad na pinagLABAN ko sila? YES they would. But my Mom would’ve scolded me sa pag “clapback” & for using my fluency in written English. My dad would have loved the feistiness BUT mapagsasabihan ako- “yung binansagan ng Mommy mo na female Ninoy hindi si Asec Mocha ang aawayin.””
Kris also expressed how another would benefit on defaming Ninoy and Cory Aquino. Then, she understood how much Mocha had only done this to keep her job.

Kris also wrote that she understood that Mocha doesn’t want to apologize to her. She then shared how much she lives in the territory of politically motivated hate because of her last name.

Kris further addressed Mocha and shared how much she understood on endorsing her own product. Then, she expressed that the late Ninoy’s favorite ice cream flavor actually had a similar name as the Assistant Secretary for Social Media of the Presidential Communications Group.
