The deadline for script submission for Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 was on May 31, Thursday. 22 producers also submitted 24 scripts. On June 29, Friday, the committee will announce which four scripts will be chosen for the film festival.
According to Gorgy Rula’s article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Star Cinema had submitted three entries for Metro Manila Film Festival. Vice Ganda’s entry which has the working title of Fantastic Vice, a horror movie which Charo Santos will top-bill and one project where Maja Salvador will star are among the three entries.
However, they haven’t submitted Darna which Liza Soberano will top-bill. The committee will also choose the finished four films in October to complete the eight entries for MMFF 2018.
