Pepe Herrera had a sudden exit from top Kapamilya show FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He used to play Cardo‘s (Coco Martin) sidekick, Benny. He currently stars in a movie, The Hopeful Romantic with Ritz Azul.

Rumors.
One rumor stated that he had migrated to New Zealand. Another report said that he went on a vacation in New Zealand with his cousin. Pepe denied both speculations.

Health problems.
According to Pepe, his exit was mainly due to a health problem, asthmatic lungs, he had.
“Mainly po because of health reasons. Nagkataon lang po na nagkaroon po ako ng karamdaman sa latter part ng 2016. Nagkaroon po kami ng mga series na pag-uusap ni Coco at saka ni Sir Deo (Endrinal). Tapos, hanggang sa nag-arrive kami sa isang desisyon na makakabuti para sa lahat.
Thankful lang po ako na it’s really Coco’s decision ‘yung final scene ko na mag-end sa ganun. Sabi po niya, sayang naman kung mapupunta sa wala ‘yung binuo nating character. Kaya siya po ‘yung nag-decide na maging heroic siya ‘dun. Kaya malaki po ang pasasalamat ko talaga kay Coco.”
