Kyline Alcantara finally snatched a selfie with her idol Maine Mendoza when she was invited to appear in “Eat Bulaga” on September 1.
In an interview on “24 Oras”, Kyline shared her encounter with Maine.
“Nung nilapitan ako, parang nag-back off po ako kasi nahiya ako, syempre isang Maine Mendoza po ‘yun, eh.
“Tapos parang nag-look back ulit siya sa akin, and then bineso niya ako so parang…. kinilig ako,” she said.
Kyline celebrated her 16th birthday recently and she was surprised by her family in a restaurant in Quezon City.
“Nagulat po ako kasi sabi nila sakin simple dinner lang. So parang… Oh! May iba pa palang dumarating. Akala ko simple dinner lang. Thank you!”
She considers her meeting with the Dubsmash Queen an advanced birthday gift.
The singer-actress also has an upcoming concert at the SM City North EDSA Skydome on September 8 titled “Kyline take FL16HT” in celebration of her birthday. And the good news is tickets are almost sold out.
“Kinakabahan po ako pero I will make sure na pagdating ng concert ready na ako to show them kung ano po yung tinatago ko for so many years,” she concluded.
Kyline’s concert will have as special guests Jeric Gonzales, Derrick Monasterio, Kristoffer Martin, Migo Adecer, and James Wright.
