Several netizens were aghast at how Professional Regulations Commission’s oath-taking ceremony for new Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers became some sort of election campaign for Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go.
In a video posted by @leslieohoh on Twitter, a certain man who was identified as SAP Bong Go’s proxy guest speaker threatened the graduates that they will not get their PC license if they do not know Bong Go.
The speaker asked the crowd if they know SAP Bong Go. After getting a resounding ‘no’ answer, he then said that they will not be given the license if they don’t know Bong Go.

“Bong Go ako ng Bong Go, kakilala nyo ba kung sino yung sinasabi ko?” the guest speaker asked.
“Oh wag na natin ituloy to, wag nang bigyan ng mga lisensya to kung hindi ka…oh ulitin ko ha, yung hindi nakakakilala kay Sec. Bong Go walang PRC license mamaya.” he added
That “joke” did not sit well with netizens,. They slammed the brazen politicking in a supposedly apolitical event.

@tonee231: It took me 4yrs to complete my Nursing Degree. Months 2 review for my licensure exam. Not just money was spent but time as well. Then someone will joke that if I bloody do not know Bong Go, i will not have my license anymore. Who d hell Bong Go is to be attached to my license?
