- ‘Star Hunt’ kicks off auditions in Asia

Is the next big star coming from Asia?
ABS-CBN’s grandest audition, “Star Hunt“, will go to Japan on September 8 and 9, and to Hong Kong on September 23, through The Filipino Channel (TFC), the flagship brand of the network’s subsidiary ABS-CBN Global.
The Star Hunters will be on the lookout for people with good singing and dancing skills, possess a unique personality or have an inspiring story to share.
The auditions in Japan on September 8 and 9 will happen at the TFC booth during the “Philippine Festival 2018” at the Hibiya Park, in Tokyo. There are two audition categories: The Kids category for the 7-year-old to 12-year-old auditionees and Adults category for 13-year-old and above auditionees. It will be from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. and only 200 auditionees per day will be entertained.
On the other hand, the “Star Hunt Hong Kong 2018” will happen on September 23 at the MacPherson Stadium, in Mongkok from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Limited slots are available for the auditionees and there will be no auditions for the kids.
Those lucky auditionees who will become one of the Star Dreamers will be given a chance to be part of some ABS-CBN shows like “Tawag ng Tanghalan”, “I Can See Your Voice”, “Pilipinas Got Talent”, “Pinoy Big Brother”, “MMK”, “The Kids’ Choice” and other comedy and drama shows and platforms of the network.

“Star Hunt” is seen outside the Philippines via TFC, with catch-up episodes seen via TFC online (www.TFC.tv) and TFC IPTV, in most countries worldwide. The Star Dreamers are introduced to the viewers by the show’s hosts Kim Chiu, Alex Gonzaga, Robi Domingo, and Melai Cantiveros.
These hosts, who were also once dreamers, will not only share the Star Dreamers’ aspirations but will also join the viewers in following their journey in honing their skills to reach for their dreams.
