Vilma Santos can’t help but express her hidden admiration for the most gorgeous young actors in the industry today namely Daniel Padilla, James Reid, and Joshua Garcia.
“Gusto ko talaga silang makasama, kahit na sabay-sabay sila. Humanap tayo ng story na puwedeng sabay-sabay sila.
“Kasi, being senior na sa showbiz, I mean, junior lang,” she laughed.
The Star for all Seasons said there’s a lesson to be learned working with young artists.
“It’s nice to be with mga new breed eh. Meron ka ring makukuha sa kanila. May maio-offer din sila sa audience na something different din. Kasi kung pareho pa rin ang gagawin natin, wala na.
“Kailangan meron ka ring gagawin na kakaiba, mga pagbabago, kailangan meron ka ring millennials na mga bagets na kasama.”
Vilma Santos also said she can work on a trilogy as long as it’s with the three of them.
“Humanap tayo ng magandang script, something different naman talaga na babagay sa amin.
“Sabi nila trilogy raw, iba-iba, na puro sila ang makakasama nga,” she concluded.
