Kapuso game show, Wowowin, had a contestant who almost called the audience “madlang pipol.” The contestant, Jen, was going to introduce the person she was with.
The mistake.
Wowowin host Willie Revillame asked the contestant to introduce the person she was with.
“Ayan, madlang—“
Willie immediately pointed out that It’s Showtime tagged that nickname to its audience.
“Sa Showtime ‘yun!”
The redemption.
Willie, then, asked the contestant to redeem herself.
“Daldal ka kasi ng daldal, maghugas kamay ka ngayon!”
She gave a lame excuse.
“Ganito po kasi ‘yan, pinapasaya ko lang kayo.”
Willie comforts?
The contestant continued to make excuses for her mistake.
“Kasi ang Wowowin, hindi dapat na-iyak ka parati. Kailangan lagi kang strong tapos kailangan parating fight, fight, fight.”
Willie comforted the contestant. He, then, pointed out that It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro would mention his name and iconic lines.
“Okay lang ‘yan. Lagi nga akong binabanggit ni Vice, eh. Binabanggit nila Vhong ‘yung ‘Bigyan ng jacket ‘yan!’ Okay lang ‘yan… Isa lang naman ang pakay ng lahat: Ang magpasaya.”
