Due to Regine Velasquez’s network transfer, and her appearance on “ASAP Live in Sydney,” fans are starting to tell jokes that the defunct GMA Network variety shows such as “SOP” and “Party Pilipinas” will now be absorbed by “ASAP.”
Although “ASAP” announced that Regine’s presence in the “ASAP Live in Sydney” episode is just a “special appearance,” fans are betting that the singer will eventually become a mainstay on the show.
If indeed Regine will become a regular in “ASAP,” she will be reuniting with her former co-singers in “SOP” and “Party Pilipinas” namely Kyla, Jaya, and her husband Ogie Alcasid.
For now, Asia’s Songbird still chooses to remain quiet regarding the issue and has yet to release an official statement.
