Are they ready to get married?
After six years of filming with Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo did a movie for the first time with a different leading man. She played the role of Tin, the daughter of Rick and Cristy Andrade (played by Richard Gomez and Sharon Cuneta). The young Kapamilya actress star that she felt weird on their first day of shooting the film.
“Yes, at first, nakakapanibagong pagdating ko sa set, wala roon si DJ. Nangangapa-ngapa pa ako sa set. But everyone’s nice so after a few days, adjusted na rin ako. Thanks din to Direk Cathy Molina kasi she really guided me, inalagaan niya ako and she’s like a second mother to me. I like the movie’s story kasi it’s about a family of three generations at ako yung boses ng mga anak.”
She also shared that it was an honor to work with the Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez.
“When it was first offered to me, gustung-gusto kong gawin kasi not everyone is given the chance na maging anak nina Tita Sharon at Tito Richard.
“They’re both so accommodating. Ang babait nila, considering their stature and accomplishments. I haven’t seen any of the films they did together but I saw their individual movies and they’re both really very good, so I feel so blessed to be given the chance to work with them.”
During one of the shooting days of the film, Bernardo got surprised when Padilla suddenly showed up in Ormoc.
“Grabe, talagang ipinakita niyang hindi siya nagkulang sa suporta niya sa akin. Parang na-recharge ako when I suddenly saw him on the set. Kinausap pa niya si Tommy Esguerra na siyang kapareha ko sa movie to take care of me habang wala siya.”
In this movie, Kathryn and Tommy are planning their wedding. When Kathryn was asked if she and Daniel are already planning in real life, the actress shared that they are both not ready yet, but she is at her happiest when she’s with Daniel.

“Naku, hindi pa kami ready. I’m just 22 at ibang level ang kasal so we have to wait muna. Mararamdaman mo naman ‘yun kung ready ka na, pero sa ngayon, hindi pa talaga. But I’m really at my happiest when I’m with DJ. He’s not just my boyfriend kundi part na rin ng family ko with whom I can tell and share everything.”
Three Words To Forever is now showing in all cinemas nationwide.
