- Rams David confirmed that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are good.
- He said that their contract to do a movie is still pending and valid, and might push next year.
- David also revealed that Maine has upcoming singles under Universal Records.
Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza seemed to have settled whatever their “difference” as seen on Eat Bulaga. Both are now more comfortable with each other compared to the last few months of hosting together on the said noontime show.
Rams David, Maine’s manager, talked to Philstar and revealed the following:
“Nandoon pa rin sa APT ang contract nila to do a movie, at maaaring matuloy na iyon next year.
“Maaari ring may solo TV show sina Alden at Maine, meron pa rin kasing Daddy’s Gurl si Maine.”
He also mentioned that Mendoza already recorded two singles under Universal Records. However, there is no official release date yet.
“Medyo matatagalan ang paglalabas ng kanyang debut album sa Universal Records, dahil siya ang susulat ng lahat ng songs sa album.
“Yung first single niya, pina-polish na, saka iyong isa para sa covers, nakanta na rin niya.
“Hindi lamang natupad ni Maine ang promise niya sa mga fans na i-release ito before the year ends, dahil naging busy siya sa shooting ng Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles for the Metro Manila Film Festival starting this December 25, Christmas Day.
“Then kailangan din niyang mag-promote kasama sina Vic Sotto at Coco Martin kaya early 2019, after the MMFF aasikasuhin na niya ang pagtapos ng album.”
David added that Maine and Alden are getting along just fine.
“Okey na okey sila, kahit nga sa Eat Bulaga, makikita mong masaya sila together at hindi naman binabawalan ang mga fans na kunan silang dalawa ng picture sa backstage off-cam.
“May mga times nga lamang hindi sila madalas magkasama sa EB dahil sa busy sila pare-pareho sa kanilang schedules.”
AlDub fans are still hopeful to see the Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza love tandem get revived.
