As part of the launch, PLDT partnered with Netflix to host a special screening party for “The Christmas Chronicles,” a Netflix original film produced by Chris Columbus, and directed by Clay Kaytis. The feel-good family flick tells the story of Santa Claus, played by Kurt Russell, who goes on a fun adventure with two with two siblings who crashed his sleigh. The screening event was held in a magical winterland setting attended by celebrity families and media partners.
Aside from screening “The Christmas Chronicles,” Netflix also announced a fantasy-adventure film “Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. Inspired by the classic tale of the Jungle Book that brings together an all-star cast featuring Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, Benedict Cumberbatch and Cate Blanchett for a heart-warming story set in a lush, visually arresting jungle.
