Joross Gamboa, ABS-CBN’s rising actor and budding director, unhesitatingly narrated the time back when Coco Martin was still an “extra” in shows and movies. It was learned that both of them already collaborated in past projects, only that Joross was the one who played more of the important roles than Coco.
“Nakasama ko na siya dati pa, sa mga MMK [Maalaala Mo Kaya], nag-e-extra pa lang siya noon. Napag-usapan na namin. Sabi ko nga sa kanya, ‘Yung eksena don, mas magaling ka pang umiyak sa akin.
He praised how Coco Martin amazingly delivered his role knowing that he was just starting in the showbiz industry. Emphasizing that although Coco was still an extra then, he can already tell that he is truly an excellent actor.

Also, Joross expressed the kindness and humility that the multi-awarded actor possesses. That up to this time, he is still the same Coco Martin that he admires.

Today, Coco Martin is the director of the television series ‘Ang Probinsyano’ while Joross is one of the playing actors. Professionally, he respects Coco as a director and he even appreciates the success that the actor has been achieving.

Speaking about friendships, Joross Gamboa together with Arjo Atayde and Ketchup Eusebio will be starring on a new comedy movie entitled ‘TOL. The exciting ride follows the friendship of Lando, Arthur, and Dimitri, whose bond would be put to the test with the return of their first love, Elena, who will be portrayed by Jessy Mendiola.
