‘Kara Mia’ is the newest primetime drama series of Kapuso Network that premiered on Monday, February 18.

In their recent press conference last Tuesday night, February 12, Dominic Zapata is asked about the challenges as the new director of this much-anticipated television series of Barbie Forteza and Mika dela Cruz.
He said, “Nung nakita ko po yung script, I saw it with a fresh eye. I figured it out for myself na, wow, hindi sa akin itinuro sa eskuwela ito, bago sa akin ang mag-shoot ng tao na dalawa ang mukha. Naging palaisipan, parang masaya na, ‘Uy, mapaiba ka naman nang konti.’ Nakakalibang i-shoot, masaya rin, kasi palaging listo ka dapat, hindi puwede yung aantok-antok. So, lahat kami ganoon mag-isip. Pati lahat ng mga artista, involved doon. I think it’s always refreshing to do something that’s new, something challenging.”
Hazel Abonita, senior program manager, asked netizens to give a chance to ‘Kara Mia’ of Barbie and Mika.
“Sinasabi namin sa inyo na silipin niyo lang kami. Bigyan niyo kami ng konting oras, magbabago ang telebabad viewing ninyo. Minsan po, hindi laging masarap yung adobo. Minsan, kumain tayo ng ibang putahe. Maraming ibang putahe diyan. Yun po ang ino-offer namin sa table ninyo, come February 18,” came the invitation from Hazel to the televiewers.
