The Girltrend member shocked netizens and her supporters in a post containing a long message for her ex, Yexel. This message confirmed their separation as lovers.
In the top-rating noon time show “It’s Showtine,” Mikee revealed that it was she who broke up with Yexel.
“Dear ex, 3 days na ng maghiwalay tayo dahil baka siguro plano ni Lord to para sa bawat isa. Minahal kita at hanggang ngaun mahal padin kita kaya nasasaktan ako ng ganito. Nangyare na ito para marealize ko na tama tong desisyon ko [sic],” she said.
“Ngaun, totoong pinapalaya na kita… hanggad ko lahat ng maganda para sayo at sa buhay mo. Sana sumaya ka sa susunod na mamahalin mo at matupad lahat ng pinapangarap mo,” she added.
She expressed her gratitude to Yexel who has been there for her in the six years that they have been a couple.
“Salamat sa mga aral ng buhay na ishinare mo na gagamitin ko ngaun kahit wala kana. Salamat sa pagmamahal ng tunay at buo. Salamat sa pagtanggap ng ako. Salamat sa pagpapasaya,” she said.
“Pangako gagalingan ko, galingan natin. Hangad ko maging tunay ka nang maligaya. Paalam baby ko. Paalam first love. May God bless us,” she added
This was sad news to all their supporters, for the couple have been quiet and smooth in their relationship for the past six years.
This post of Mikee was followed by a similar lengthy message from Yexel on Sunday night, to reveal the reason of their split-up.
“I give all my very very best. And I know binigay din naman nya lahat lahat ang kanyang makakaya. Pero hindi naging sapat ang best namin para sa bawat isa,” he said
