Last April 27, Saturday, the former Queen of All Media Kris Aquino posted on her social media account an honest answer to a certain netizen who asked her if she would still be happy if she is not rich.
The netizen wrote, “hi kris, will you still be happy if you are not rich?”
We all know that the Aquinos came from a very prominent and political family. Knowingly, her parents were the late Benigno Aquino II and the late and former president María Corazón “Cory” Cojuangco-Aquino. She is also the youngest sister of former president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Aquino entertained the question thrown against her and answered it in a very tactful and sensible way.
On Facebook she wrote, “Truthfully kung ako lang ha, YES because i’ll probably spend some time in purgatory but after- i’ll get to be with my mom in heaven.”
The actress added, “I’m not going to be falsely modest, straight talk – we’re comfortable. When translated it means i can still afford the insurance premiums for worldwide coverage (Pacific Cross), we can pay for my monthly medication (not covered by insurance), pay for my flights abroad for my check ups and treatments, or for my emergencies here, and we do have trustworthy doctors, nurses, and health care individuals genuinely concerned and closely monitoring me.”
She ended her message with a light humor that if that’s the case (she is poor), then maybe her bashers were long happy for her death.
“Without the financial means, matagal nang natuwa yung mga praying for my death,” she concluded.
