Kapamilya star Angel Locsin has been lauded by many for taking to task Jimmy Bondoc when he wished for the demise of the “biggest network” (which he later confirmed to be ABS-CBN) which would have meant losing thousands of jobs.
Angel also took to her Instagram account to express her gratitude to the network who made her into the star that she is now. A netizen then took the opportunity to ask her about ABS-CBN’s tax troubles.
“Ang Question lang kasi bakit ayaw mag bayad ng utang ng Abs-Cbn kung kaya namang bayadan?Madami silang magagaling na Artista at Director na syang nag patunay ng kanilang galing then hahayaan nyo mawala ang taong ganyan?Sunod batas lahat tayo sana para matapos na at wala ng gulo or any allegations,” a netizen commented.
Angel refrained from making a comment on the alleged issue, saying that she lacked the knowledge on the subject. She, however, agreed that it is the responsibility of every Filipino to abide by the tax laws.

but yes, I agree with you na lahat tayo ay dapat magbayad ng buwis :),” her comment.

Angel’s loyal supporters seconded her statement.
“Tama naman na mamili tayo sa topic na sasagutin natin. It was about paying taxes, bakit abogado ba ng ABS-CBN si Angel?”
“Di niya lang gusto post ni jimmy kaya doon lang siya sumagot tuwang tuwa ipasara”
“She is simply choosing her battles like any decent, rational, and objective person would do. May problema ba dun? Lol. Napaka foreign talaga sa ibang tao ang maging reasonable.”
