ABS-CBN’s afternoon primetime show, ‘Kadenang Ginto’ still remains to be on top in the afternoon timeslot against its rival show from GMA Network, ‘Bihag.’ The former made the latter eat dust in ratings as the gap is quite huge in terms of percentage.
Last week’s episode, Romina played by Gonzales and Daniela played by Romana figured on another heated conversation in celebrating Mother’s Day. Romina threatened Daniela on her actions that might lead the latter leaving the mansion.
Meanwhile on GMA Network’s ‘Bihag,’ Reign played by Sophia Albert threatened Jason Abalos as Brylle in telling the latter’s wife, Jessie that she is his mistress.
Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) has the following data:
On Monday, May 6, GMA Network’s ‘Bihag’ got a 5.7% in rating against ABS-CBN’s ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ with almost closed to a 10%, the show won in 9.9% percent in rating.
On Tuesday, May 7, the Kapuso afternoon series only got 5.4% while the Kapamilya drama had 10.47%.
Wednesday, May 8, ‘Bihag’ had progressed from its more or less 5% in rating to a 6.1% but still weren’t able to beat ‘Kadenang Ginto’s’ 10.4%.
Thursday, May 9 the Kapuso drama had lost again at 6.3% against ‘Kadenang Ginto’ that had 10.0%.
And on Friday, May 10 with the Kapuso series is at 5.7% and the Kapamilya intense drama series at 10.8%.
The two afternoon shows differ on plots but the shows stars matter a lot in making the series a hit for its audience are hooked with it.
