Nadine Lustre once again shared her thoughts about auditioning for the role of ‘Darna.’
Recently, a video of Nadine showing the actress shouting the iconic line ‘Darna’ while making the Darna pose went viral. This led to speculations and clamour about the actress taking on the superheroine role.
In an interview at the MYX Music Awards Night where she took home four awards, Nadine answered whether or not she has plans of auditioning for the said role.
According to Melba Llanera of Pep.ph, the actress replied with a brief “no” as to whether or not she auditioned for ‘Darna.’
When asked about the viral video that circulated, she replied, “It was for a friend, si Donnalyn Bartolome, she requested because I haven’t seen her for a long time, so ginawa ko na.”
The actress said that if she was asked to audition for the said role, she would gladly do it and it’s not that she doesn’t want to.
“Me naman kasi, kung sasabihan ako, I will do it, but kundi man sinabi, okay lang naman.”
The actress has an upcoming project with Sam Concepcion titled ‘Indak.’
“Puro sayawan naman siya so it’s very different sa projects na ginawa ko.”
Nadine Lustre bagged four awards at the MYX Music Awards 2019 for Artist of the Year and Female Artist of the Year, Music Video of the Year for ‘St4y Up’, and Media Soundtrack of the Year for ‘Prom’ with James Reid.
The actress thanked her fans for her success and for the outgoing support that she received.
“Maraming salamat, of course, MYX and to JaDine fans na patuloy na sumusuporta sa amin ni James.”
