Kapuso brodcaster and news anchor Arnold Clavio joked about his physical appearance. This happened during a press conference for the re-launch of Double B sa News TV, and he was asked about his appearance.
A seemingly surprised Clavio quickly responded he is neither conscious about his personal look or appearance.
“Hindi, hindi naman ako vain,” Clavio answered.
He then continued to explain people’s reaction toward him when they see him in person.
“At least maganda naman kasi yung reaksyon ng tao. Kung panget ako sa TV, ang gwapo ko sa personal.”
He also joked about one colleague in the industry whom he said is both none appealing on TV and in person, but quick to add that the person is not a Kapuso.
“May kilala kasi ako ang panget sa TV naku ang panget din sa personal…[pero] hindi kapuso,” Clavio added
Clavio was with co-anchors Ali Sotto, Mike Enriquez and Joel Zobel during the presscon.
It was in line with the re-launch of Double B sa News TV after GMA News TV’s switch from Ch11 to Ch27.
