GMA Network has announced that it will make a local adaptation of one of the most popular Korean dramas, Descendants of the Sun.
GMA has also signed a contract with Armed Forces of the Philippines for the show. Cast members Dingdong Dantes (who will play Big Boss), Rocco Nacino, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith were also present at the contract signing.
However, there was still no sign of who the leading lady will be.
It was recently speculated that Jennylyn Mercado was going to be leading lady in the series.

Jennylyn is currently starring in GMA Network’s Love You Two, which is rank #1 against its rival on ABS-CBN, Sino ang May Sala: Mea Culpa.
Rom-com queen Jennylyn may be one of the busiest actresses since she is already hosting GMA Network’s StarStruck on its seventh season with Descendants of the Sun lead star Dingdong Dantes.
