“Sobrang toxic to the point nakakadiri na mag online.”
The actor shared his sentiments about people who make it seem like an obligation to post “feed-goal worthy” Instagram photos complete intellectual sounding captions that aren’t even connected to what has been posted.
He also pointed out the fake lives seen in vlogs that make netizens aspire for that kind of life.
“Kaya todo post ka nang umaatikabo mong vlog to show kung gaano kasarap at kasaya ang pekeng buhay na pinapakita at ipinaiinggit mo sa mga followers mo who wanted to be just like you.”
The singer-actor feels that social media nowadays are full of lies and instead of sharing what is true it is more about pleasing followers.
Many netizens agreed with Teddy.
This is actually how I view social media.

In the end, Teddy had this to say about the state of social media today.
“Nakaka discourage di ba? Minsan pag naiisip ko yan I always turn to God. Na sya nalang yung security and identity ko. Na mahal nya ako no matter how ordinary or unworthy I am.”
