An unnamed Kapuso insider called Sahaya‘s faceoff with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano “suicide”.
In a report by Reggee Bonoan for Balita.net.ph, she said a certain Kapuso insider told her that the latest match-up is suicide for the Kapuso drama series.
“‘SUICIDE,’ ito ang tanging nasabi mismo ng taga-GMA 7 nang sabihan silang itatapat ang seryeng Sahaya nina Miguel Tan Felix at Bianca Umali sa tinaguriang Hari ng Primetime na si Coco Martin sa aksyon serye nitong FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano simula bukas, Lunes.”
Starting Monday, July 1, 2019, Sahaya moved to an earlier timeslot vacated by Kara Mia.
With the move, Sahaya goes head to head with Kapamilya’s long-running action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
With the proven track of the Coco Martin teleserye, Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix are off to a big battle which has never been won by their predecessors. That’s is why according to Bonoan it is indeed a suicide for the Bianca Umali-Miguel Tanfelix teledrama as stated by the unnamed Kapuso.
Sahaya will be the 14th competitor of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano where all its predecessors were gunned down early on.
Kara Mia was the most recent victim, ending its run after only four months on the air.
