Gerald Anderson finally broke his silence about Bea Alonzo two weeks after Bea shared an Instagram post about making a mistake twice that immediately went viral. Gerald, Bea, and Julia Barretto immediately became a trending topic on Twitter with many netizens pointing Julia as the third party in the relationship.
For two weeks, even Gerald’s exes like Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, and Sarah Geronimo were dragged into the fray, becoming the subject of memes and having old issues dug up.
During the cast presentation of Bea’s upcoming series, she revealed that there was no formal breakup between her and Gerald. “He said that? Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me.”
This afternoon, August 5, while Gerald was preparing for Star Magic’s All-Star Games 2019, ABS-CBN Entertainment news reporter Ganiel Krishnan asked the Kapamilya star about what happened to his relationship with Bea.
Gerald revealed, “Siguro yung nangyari just like other relationships, fight after fight after fight and we had this big fight. nailabas lahat ng emotions and feelings na we realized na hindi na siya masyadong healthy. And we’re just hurting each other. And ‘yun po ayaw na talaga.”
He added, “We have to stay strong and disciplined. Iwas muna sa communications.”
