After lambasting Bea Alonzo during an interview with a local TV program TV Patrol South Central Mindanao last August 23, Evangeline ‘Vangie’ Opsima had some advice for the rumored new girlfriend of her son, Julia Barretto.
Vangie expressed that she does not want them to have a relationship because her son is eight years older than Julia.
“Hindi ko nga sinasabi na ayaw kita, ‘no. Ang akin lang, advice ko lang sa ‘yo, please, ayaw ko kasi may edad na rin Gerald sa ‘yo. Hindi rin kayo magtagal dahil alam ko nasa industriya,” she said.
For more than a month now, the issue about Bea, Gerald, and Julia has been a trending topic on social media. After Bea made a cryptic post on Instagram implying that she had been betrayed, her celebrity and non-celebrity friends have chimed in to show their support. Gerald has already cleared Julia of any involvement in his separation from Bea.
Despite the news that her dad Dennis Padilla confirmed that Gerald was courting her, Julia, denied any involvement in the breakup in her last statement.
