August 17, GMA Network announced another reshuffle of GMA Telebabad shows. It is to address the downward trend in terms of ratings against its rival network’s newest primetime series. Love You Two fared well in the ratings throughout its run but not after its rival show, The Killer Bride came.
On August 19, the rom-com show was placed in an earlier timeslot. It is now airing right after Sahaya and is competing against Kapamilya Network’s action-drama, The General’s Daughter.
But based on NUTAM People’s Rating week on August 19 to 23, GMA telebabad evening block Love You Two still failed to win in the ratings’ game against undefeated Kapamilya Network’s The General’s Daughter.
In Love You Two episodes, it highlighted, Jake (Gabby Concepcion) after three days of being in a relationship with Raffy (Jennylyn Mercado), he already proposed marriage. Meanwhile, Nina (Sheena Halili) and Theo (Clint Bondad) tried to stop the marriage proposal, but they did not succeed. Both accepted Raffy and Jake’s love for each other as pure.
However, Raffy’s brother Harrison is against Raffy’s marriage plans.
In The General’s Daughter episode, General De Leon (Albert Martinez) was able to uncover another planned illegal transaction of Tiago (Tirso Cruz III).) The search for Cuatro is not yet over, Rhian (Angel Locsin) and Franco (Paolo Avelino) are looking into the possibility of having Tiago’s intel is part of the military group.
The General’s Daughter on Monday, August 19, landed with a two-digit score of 15.0% and led Love You Two to register only with 7.6% rating.
The following day, the Kapamilya action-drama series decreased to 13.5% but Love You Two remained low (though it recorded) with a slight change at 7.8%.
On Wednesday, August 21, the Angel Locsin-starrer earned 13.4% and has beaten Love You Two with only having 8.0%.
On Thursday, August 22, The General’s Daughter had 13% while Love You Two lagged behind at 8.1%.
