GMA Network’s Sahaya top-billed by Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, and Migo Adecer, concluded its six-month run last Friday (September 6).
In the finale episode, the Badjaw tribe led by Sahaya (Bianca Umali) won against Hubert (Eric Quizon), who tried to steal the island of Tawi-Tawi. Sahaya became friends with Jordan (Migo) while Ahmad (Miguel) became her fiance.
This finale episode received its highest rating from both Kantar Media and NUTAM since the show started on March 18. Sahaya got a TV rating of 21.9% from Kantar Media while getting 12.5% in NUTAM.
The show wasn’t able to topple its rival FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano but it was able to at least get closer in the finale. It was a close fight from the two rival primetime series. FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano got 32.4%, 10.5 points higher than its rival Kapuso program in Kantar Media, while getting 13.5%, or 1.0% higher than Sahaya in NUTAM.
