‘Sahaya’ ended its run last September 6 after more than five months on air.
In the finale episode, the Badjaw tribe led by Sahaya (Bianca Umali) won against Hubert (Eric Quizon), who tried to steal the island of Tawi-Tawi. Sahaya became friends with Jordan (Migo Adecer) while Ahmad (Miguel Tanfelix) became her fiancé.
‘Sahaya’ is a TV series that aims to capture the richness of Philippine indigenous culture with the story mainly based on the way of life of the Badjao people.
The finale episode received its highest rating from NUTAM since the show started on March 18. Sahaya got a TV rating of 12.5% in NUTAM.
