After starring in the blockbuster Star Cinema film Hello, Love, Goodbye, many fans are now clamoring for Alden Richards to attend the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 and be with Kapamilya stars once again.
Alden was pushed to real stardom after acting as Ethan in the now highest-grossing film of all time. He gained immense popularity not only in the country but also abroad after winning the Asian Star Prize Award in South Korea. He is now one of the highest-paid actors at GMA Network.
The ABS-CBN Ball which was formerly known as the Star Magic Ball is fast approaching. The star-studded event will happen on September 14, Saturday, at Shangri-la at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City.
Kathryn Bernardo, Alden’s leading lady in Hello, Love, Goodbye, said that Alden had expressed his wish in attending the ball but he was not sure if he will be permitted.
“He wants to go, but I’m not sure if they allowed him to go. Hindi ko alam. But kung pupunta siya, he’s very welcome.”
But the one thing she confirmed is she will be walking the red carpet with her real life boyfriend Daniel Padilla.

“Of course, oo naman, siya yung date ko for ilang years na,” Kathryn said to the press at the Pond’s Women Speak event on Wednesday, September 4, in Maybank Theater, Bonifacio Global City.
In preparation for the ball, Kathryn chose Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco to create her modern Filipiniana dress. She made a stop at his atelier last August in Dubai during the international premiere of her film Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Though she has been on a diet, Kathryn said that she went off it because of her short family vacation in Japan recently.
“Sabi ko, pag-uwi ko, dun na lang ako magda-diet. Kakain muna ako sa Japan for three days. Uuwi ako and then, mag-work out na ulit ako and mag-diet.
“Of course, aalagaan ko yung cheeks ko para maganda sa Filipiniana.”
Kathryn also expressed her excitement for the upcoming ball. “I’m really excited for the after party, and I can’t wait na makita ulit lahat in their Filipinianas.”
