Janella Salvador has now become more open about the real status of her love life. The actress admitted that she is currently happy in her relationship with Markus Paterson, her rumored boyfriend.
“Masaya. Of course, I’m happy,” Janella said in an interview.
“Oo napapasaya naman niya ako, pero I just don’t want to share a lot, basta alam niyo na ‘yun pag nakita niyo kami sa labas,” she added.
Janella also relayed the reason she remained low key about their relationship before.
“Siguro noong time na ‘yun mas careful ako kasi fresh pa. Pero ngayon marami na rin akong napagdaanan from that moment and marami na ako natutunan talagang fully recovered na kaming lahat,” Janella explained.
Janella is happy that Markus finally met her parents, Juan Miguel Salvador and Jenine Desiderio.
She continued, “Na meet na, na meet na ng Dad ko. Okay naman, actually wala akong problema ngayon pagdating doon (love life).”
The actress was then asked what makes her happy being with Markus. She only responded with: “Reason? Hindi naman kailangan ng reason basta mapi-feel mo naman.”
The 21-year-old actress said that she has already moved on from her past relationship with her ex-love team partner Elmo Magalona. Janella considered this a rough patch in her life which taught her to be more prepared for every challenge.
She is currently seen in the primetime series The Killer Bride and in the horror movie The Heiress with Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. Produced by the Regal Films, it will hit cinemas nationwide on November 27.
