- Fans of the actress asked bashers to stop involving Julia in the controversy
Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto’s name trended on social media after news of James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s breakup broke out.
The actress was once again reminded of her controversy with Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo when some netizens made comparisons to JaDine’s recent breakup. Some dug up her past rumored romance with James and her supposed friendship with model Issa Pressman, who is was accused of being the third party in James and Nadine’s relationship.
Using the #LeaveJuliaBarrettoAlone, the fans of the actress defended her from the bashing, asking for people not to make it worse for her mentally and emotionally.

Julia has been the target of criticisms since last year after she was rumored to have a secret romance with her Between Maybes co-star, Gerald.
