ABS-CBN Chief Content Officer Charo Santos could not help but compliment Kapamilya Actor Daniel Padilla.
Charo and Daniel are working on a film about the devastating aftermath of typhoon Yolanda, titled Whether the Weather is Fine.
In a recent interview with Charo Santos, the lead actress said of Daniel, “Magaling. He has the instincts of an actor. He does his homework. Inaaral niya ang character niya. Sa set naman, maalaga siya. Feeling ko si Yoon Se-ri (a character from Crash Landing on You) ako,” she said.
Santos also hopes that Padilla will grow as an actor and even envisions him like Crash Landing on You lead actor Hyun Bin.
“Nagkita nga kami nung Friday. Nag-dub kami. Sabi ko I hope you evolve into a Hyun Bin. Pero sabi ko, ‘Bata ka pa naman, you’re allowed to have your adventure.’
“But if he matures… you see naman how he takes care of Kathryn (Bernardo),” she added.
Directed by Carlo Francisco Manatad, Whether the Weather is Fine is about the aftermath of the devastating typhoon Yolanda of November 2013 that hit the country.
She also shared some updates about her upcoming film.
“Abangan natin iyan. I think they have plans of submitting it to some festivals. I don’t know when it will be shown here.”
