Heart Evangelista-Escudero has been receiving hate comments on Instagram regarding the ‘guillotine the rich’ issue on social media.
The issue started when a netizen with the username jubi_lance sarcastically praised the entrepreneur-celebrity for being such a darling but stated that Heart should be one of the first when the time comes that people decide to guillotine the rich.
Heart defended herself by stating that she’s been working really hard for the past 23 years, and asked whether she can’t be happy for herself and also share her blessings.
Heart responded: “You really think a perfect life exists? You seriously want to kill me?”
As of this writing, Heart managed to delete the said post and apologized repetitively on her Twitter account. The fashion icon also stated that she could have elaborated her sentiments more to prevent miscommunication.
I deleted all my previous tweets . I understand the hate . I should have elaborated my sentiments more . I am sorry . So sorry…

You may not see my heart and that’s ok so I just wanna say I am truly sorry if I offended “you”

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Broadcaster Karen Davila thoroughly understands the situation of Heart and assured the latter that being human we can’t prevent making mistakes.
I know your heart my friend. You didnt mean harm. We all make mistakes, we’re just human @heart021485 🙏🏻 https://t.co/RBUwLZklwR

Here are some netizens’ reactions for Heart Evangelista:
Oh please, stop that "we're just human" excuse. Nagkamali, nagsorry, natuto, tapos.

Hope you use your "heart" towards enacting genuine social change at hindi lang puro fluff "inspirational" stuff.

Hey, we all have our less-than-shining moments, don't be too hard on your self. You're all right, Love.

Dearest heart, twitter can be toxic sometimes.

Focus on empowerment.
May purpose ka, gamitin sa maayos.
