- Toni left a reminder to the netizen who badmouthed her

Kapamilya actress Toni Gonzaga responded to a netizen who cursed at her for not helping the needy during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in the country. The netizen even compared the TV host-actress to her sister Alex Gonzaga who did some charity work.
It was earlier this week when Toni posted a quote card on her Instagram account which was meant to inspire everyone in times of crisis.
The netizen then commented on her post,“T*** i** toni puro ka ganyan wala kami nababalitaan na tumulong ka na sa mga nangangailangan puro si alex lang marunong tumulong sa kapwa,” wrote the netizen.
The netizen also claimed that the actress has no sense of gratitude towards her fellow Filipinos and only wants to enjoy her celebrity life.
“Pinayaman ka ng taong bayan sa pag suporta sayo matuto ka magbalik palibhasa nakahiga ka sa pera nakakain ka ng masarap nakakatulog ka ng mahimbing mga kapwa mo pilipino kahit kailan wala ka tulong mahiya ka proud ka pa ipakita sa Instagram mo na kumakain ka ng masarap habang maraming namamatay na pilipino t*** i** wala ka silbi.”
Toni did not let the comment slide and said, “So much hate in your heart.”
“I hope the lockdown will make (you) reflect on how you speak to others,” she added.
The actress also pointed out to the netizen that some good works are not publicized.
“I never broadcast the help we give. I don’t need your validation and praise for it. Some people can work and help in silence. Respect that. Not everything is publicized like how you want it. After washing your hands today, wash your mouth also. It badly needs it (wink emoji),” Toni reminded the netizen.
Toni recently became a subject of ridicule on the internet along with some of her fellow celebrities. Some netizens complained about Ton remaining silent about the current situation in the country and the governance of President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration.
Toni was one of the celebrities invited to the May 7, 2019 private “thanksgiving dinner” in Malacañang hosted by President Duterte and partner Honeylet Avanceña. She has been seen as a supporter of the president since then.
