The Kapuso actress also clarified that she was not able to finish her nursing degree so she decided to take up Political Science wherein she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arellano University.

The star of GMA’s Beautiful Justice left showbiz to take up nursing in 2014 but end up earning a degree in Political Science at Arellano University in 2019. During her college years at Arellano University, Yasmien realized her passion for the entertainment industry and affirmed that she has no plans to leave until her hair turns gray.
She said: “No wala akong plano umalis ng showbiz. Noong umalis ako noon sa showbiz para mag-aral, doon ko na realize na mahal ko pala talaga ang trabaho ko.. Hindi ko siya iiwan at ipagpapalit hanggang tumanda ako.”
