Jobert Sucaltido blasted actress Nikki Valdez’s tweets comparing ABS-CBN bosses to PhilHealth officials amid the corruption issue.
In line with the health insurance agency corruption, many people have been speaking up about the ‘slow’ investigation of this issue. Adding to this the fact that President Rodrigo Duterte said that he had no plans of firing any PhilHealth official, people fear that his administration will just disregard this issue.

One of those personalities that spoke up about this issue was ABS-CBN actress Nikki Valdez.
Valdez took to Twitter her dismay with the corrupt officials who are currently being investigated. She also made a contrast between their ABS-CBN bosses who faced the franchise hearings bravely with PhilHealth officials who suddenly declared medical conditions which make them unable to attend the hearings.

However, ex-ABS-CBN host Jobert Sucaldito blasted her statement and demanded that she trust the government’s investigation of the corruption issue.
[The government is your ally. They are scrutinizing this well to identify and punish the ‘vultures’ inside the agency]
[It’s hard because you always live with doubts. Why not wait for the hearings to finish to see if the government will tolerate the corruption inside the agency? That’s the time you complain]
He targeted Valdez for equating the ABS-CBN issue to the corruption issue in PhilHealth and for contrasting the ABS-CBN executives wtih the PhilHealth officials.
Sucaldito also urged Valdez to wait for the process and assured that Congress especially Reps. Rodante Marcoleta, Crispin Remulla, and Mike Defensor will not let this pass.
They will rule on this.
Morales, kina Congressman Marcoleta, Remulla and Defensor? Huwag mo munang pangunahan dear. If you want, sundan mo na lang si Gabby Lopez sa Switzerland or kung saan man siya tumakbo dahil mukhang di ka pa naka-move on sa pagkasara ng ABS-CBN. Kaloka!” Sucaldito said.
Valdez then responded to this rant of Jobert through her Twitter account.

“Ngawngaw daw ako ng ngawngaw. At least hindi ako magnanakaw! Yes? Ok. 😜”
Jobert Sucaltido earned flak for his ‘suicide’ comments against Nadine Lustre, who admitted she was experiencing depression. Many found Sucaldito’s comment to Nadine to jump off a building appalling. This lead to Sucaldito’s suspension from ABS-CBN’s AM station DZMM where he had worked for almost 20 years.
ABS-CBN said that it will not tolerate Sucaldito’s “inappropriate and insensitive comments” and that it takes mental health issues seriously.
