Ogie Diaz fired back at self-proclaimed blogger and DDS Banat By when the blogger posted his comments about the cancellation of Ogie’s program on DZMM.
Ogie’s radio program OMJ with MJ Felipe was recently canceled by DZMM following by the shutdown of ABS-CBN due to its denied franchise.
Their program, however, has an online version through Facebook though the segment was already not station produced.
Banat By expressed his approval that their show was canceled since he said it would mean less fake news on the radio.

“Ay buti naman ng mabawasan na ang fake news sa Radyo,” he wrote.
Ogie did not let the negative criticism about his program pass as he quickly retorted to the blogger’s post on Twitter.
Kung fake news kami, ano si Mocha? Gospel truth? Hahaha! Kalokah ka, mars! https://t.co/fX6kB85Wp4

Ogie mentioned that Mocha Uson, a member of Mocha Girls that Banat By manages, is the one who is known for spreading false information, even gaining the title of Fake News Queen.
Mocha Uson is known as a supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte and as someone who spreads disinformation to the public. She is the co-founder of the group Mocha Girls which is an all-female singing and dancing group from the Philippines.
She was appointed by President Duterte as Deputy Executive Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), something which earned the criticism of the Filipino people who called it a “recycling of garbage” by the administration.
She maintains a Facebook page called Mocha Uson Blog which is a page for DDS (Duterte Die-hard Supporters). It is here where she usually posts incorrect information which earned her the “Queen of Fake News” title.
Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz also recently responded to Banat By when the blogger called several artists ‘laos’ and only using the issue on the ABS-CBN franchise as a way for them to gain attention from the public once again.
Banat By reposted a statement of Lolit Solis who said that actress Jennylyn Mercado should not involve herself with the Kapamilya network’s franchise battle and said that the actress should learn to choose her battles.
Banat By agreed with Solis and added that past-their-prime artists like Jennylyn feel the need to join discussions about politics just to catch the attention of others. Aside from Mercado, the blogger also tagged K Brosas, Nikko Natividad, and Angel Locsin.

“Ganun talaga mga artista pag laos na at need maging relevant. Meron naman tiktok at youtube eh. No need sumawsaw sa politics lalo na kung mahina ang logic. Dba @kbrosas @Hashtag_nikko13 @143redangel @MercadoJen ???” he wrote.
The artists that Banat By tagged are just some of the celebrities who were vocal about their support for ABS-CBN back when the network was fighting for their franchise to be renewed.
Ogie Diaz decided to defend the said celebrities by attacking Banat By and encouraged that if the blogger really wants to talk about being relevant, why doesn’t he talk about the corruption in Philhealth.
The issue about Philhealth that Ogie wants Banat By to tackle is about the corporation’s executive committee who allegedly stole P15 billion from the agency using different fraudulent schemes.
Ogie Diaz is a comedian, writer, and talent manager. He rose to fame by being a part of the long-running TV sitcom Palibhasa Lalake which ran from 1987 to 1998.
He is currently the manager of the rising star Liza Soberano and was once the manager of Vice Ganda for four years.
Recently, heconfirmed that he was hired by Raffy Tulfo as his new manager to handle endorsements and projects offered to him.
