There is a lack of media coverage in Catanduanes and it was reported that the relief goods for the residents were delayed. This prompted concerned Filipinos online to be worried about the current situation.
As the province received severe damage from the typhoon, disaster officials admitted that Catanduanes was the hardest to reach because of the loss of telecommunication and impassable roads.
Recent news reported that power and communication are still down in Catanduanes and the people there badly need food supply and housing materials.
