In a special episode of her online talk show, I Feel U, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, and Bianca Gonzalez reunited for an online interview recounting their friendship throughout the years.
During one of the segments, Toni asked Mariel and Bianca about their married lives. Mariel shared about her married life with her husband, Robin Padilla. Firstly, she highlighted what she heard from Toni from her previous interviews about appreciating her husband, Paul Soriano.
“Ako gusto ko nung sinabi mo na, may one-time kasi sinabi mo na na-appreciate mo si Paul. During this time, na-appreciate mo si Paul,” said Mariel.
Mariel then related it to her marriage, noting that she appreciates Robin more now.
“Oo nga no, sobra kung na-appreciate si Robin. Mas lalo ‘di ba. ‘Di s’ya advice, pero when you said that, na tumatak sa akin ‘yun because naano ako na, oo nga no,” said Mariel.
After that, Toni added to Mariel’s statement. She noted that they both learned to focus on what they appreciate with their spouses instead of their flaws.
“Parang, instead of looking at what’s missing and their flaws, you look at it in a different light. On what you appreciate with your partner,” said Toni.

Recently, rumors that Mocha Uson was pregnant and that Robin was the father surfaced. Mariel has since then spoken about the issue. She initially disregarded it but released a statement through Instagram afterward.
In her post, Mariel noted that Robin’s brother passed away, and he was currently grieving. She chided perpetrators of the rumors, noting that her husband does not need baseless gossip.
Robin and Mariel have been married since 2010, and they have two daughters.
