Ex-PBB housemate Russu Laurente denies allegations he’s a ‘manyak’

There are usually two sides to a story

Russu Laurente, the “Bunsong Boksingero” of General Santos City made his exit from ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Connect last January 3.

Laurente was evicted after receiving 4.39% of the votes, meaning he was the housemate to be voters least wanted to save.

The former housemate was a controversial one as he in his previous tweets prior to him being a PBB housemate showed support for ABS-CBN’s shutdown.

During his stay in Kuya’s house, viewers called him “manyak” because of an incident where they perceived him to be taking advantage of other housemates.

It all started with him being seen by netizens as a “macho dancer” who also took “advantage” of his fellow housemates such as Andrea and Alyssa.

In an episode where the audience judged him to be a perv, it was during the time that he was accused of kissing Andrea during their time in the pool area.

Upon Laurente’s exit, he clarified that his being a “manyak” was not true. In an exclusive interview with LionhearTV, he explained himself, that all accusations to him were false.

Russu gave his side of the story apart from what the audience has seen through the cameras placed in Kuya’s house. Apparently, the angle of the camera was in a place where it can be easily misinterpreted that he is kissing Andrea, his fellow housemate.

Additionally, people thought that he is a predator waiting to take advantage of women. However, he denied such an allegation stating that he is just clingy\\.

“Yung si ate Alyssa nung New Year, medyo nagtatampo si ate Alyssa sakin nun.

The former housemate stressed that though he knows that he cannot please everyone, his fellow housemates can attest to his clinginess. For him, that is just who he is being the “bunso”.

The housemate was evicted after another controversial housemate, Justin Dizon, got booted out of PBB.
