Actors Robi Domingo and Donny Pangilinan join forces with Pinoy Pop group SB19 in the upcoming Filipino-Korean variety show, Aja! Aja! Tayo Sa Jeju.
During his Kapamilya strong press conference, Donny highlighted the said project with Robi. He said that both he and Robi assumed that ABS-CBN would shelve the variety show since they shot it before the pandemic.
“Interestingly enough, this (was) shot before the pandemic. Akala nga namin ni Kuya Robi ‘di na siya magsho-show, kasi nga di ba the pandemic was so hard. But, finally, it’s showing this summer,” said Donny.
Donny then described the premise of the variety show. He highlights that they are a group of friends exploring Jeju Island in South Korea while doing challenges.
“It’s a variety show. Parang a group of friends; they go to Jeju; they explore Korea. Kasama ko si Kuya Robi dito. Grabe ‘yung friendship namin ni Kuya Robi dito, makikita mo–niyo talaga. It’s (very) serious, di ba Kuya Robs. Pero, ang dami namin ginawa, we explored Jeju, we did challenges,” said Donny.
Aside from Robi, Donny, and SB19, Kristel Fulgar and Shine Kuk join the cast in this barkada trip across Jeju Island. The variety show airs this March on A2Z Channel and Kapamilya Channel.
