Actor and Duterte loyalist Robin Padilla is currently being dubbed as the new “Mocha” after a series of false statements.
Over Twitter, many Netizens have likened Padilla to the Deputy Executive Director of OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) for particular reasons.
Padilla recently made a buzz after he insisted that the DLSU (De La Salle University) was built during the Spaniards. His claim was made during his Facebook Live defending Sen. Bong Go. The politician recently was criticized because of his version of the Battle of Mactan.
However, Padilla’s assertion was proven wrong.
According to the history advocacy group, High School Philippine History Movement, it was established in 1911, when Americans occupied the Philippines.
Meanwhile, dubbed as the “Queen of Fake News”, Uson’s reputation has been linked with numerous fake news, especially about the Covid-19 crisis last year. In fact, the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) even summoned her for the rampant spreading of incorrect information.
With Padilla and Mocha sharing a similar trait, particularly in the fake news category, many Netizens are now calling him the next “Mocha”.
A Netizen urged the DDS to stop patronizing Duterte and his loyal followers i.e. Bong Go, Mocha Uson, and Robin Padilla.

With Robin recently earning criticism after defending Sen. Bong Go with lies, a Netizen concluded that the actor is becoming more of the assistant secretary of the PCOO. Furthermore, he attacked Padilla’s career, saying that the actor is spitting nonsense because of his dwindling career.

Padilla’s ‘mistake’ in stating that the DLSU was built by the Spaniards even made a Netizen concluded that the actor and Uson are one.

Meanwhile, singer and also Duterte loyalist Richard Poon got into the mix as he, along with Padilla was coined by a Netizen as the “male versions of Mocha Uson”.

Earlier this year, a rumor has spread that Padilla got Uson pregnant. The social media star denied such hearsay but pointed a finger at who spread such an issue.
To prove that she was not pregnant, she uploaded a video of her working out. According to Uson, it was Vice President Leni Robredo’s supporters due to the fact that the VP was dead-last in a survey.
“Alam ng lahat na ako at si sir Robin ay masugid na supporter ni Pangulong Duterte kaya nalang sinisiraan kami. Kulelat kasi sa survey ang pambato nilang si Robredo kaya kung anu-ano paninira ang iniimbento nila. Lunch break! Workout na muna tayo,” she said.
