In a new YouTube video, Ogie Diaz shared a touching interview with Dennis Padilla – highlighting the latter’s recent struggles and hardships.
The comedian Padilla revealed his recent recovery from the COVID-19 last March. He claimed that it is already his second life. He recalled his great battle with and described it that he was already on the verge of death.
Grateful to the Creator for the blessings he received and for giving him another chance to live.
The interview reached the point where the discussion led to the matter of Julia Barretto officially transitioning her surname from Baldivia to Barretto.
Bakit kailangan palitan ang name?” he asked such questions for the longest time.
Diaz asked the comedian why he doesn’t dare to ask his daughter regarding the issue of changing her surname.
Dennis responded: “Nahihiya ako… at natatakot.”
He said that he is afraid to hear from the mouth of her daughter the words that the name is already replaced with Barretto, not a Baldivia anymore.
Dennis concluded that amid all the trials and heartaches he faced, now, he is striving to be a better person, totally living up his second life. His real-life name is Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia and now 59 years of age.
