Former Star Magic head, Mariole Alberto formally switched network and is now a Kapuso?
Earlier, it was Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan who transferred to GMA Network through Willie Revillame’s production firm Wilfredo Buendia Revillame (WBR) after his stint in TV5.
Now, it’s Alberto’s turn as Cristy Fermin, via her radio show, Cristy Fer Minute on Tuesday, June 8, announced that the former Star Magic head is already on GMA Network.
Fermin then defended the move of the former Kapamilya executive.
The radio host said that Alberto’s decision was influenced by the ABS-CBN’s loss of franchise and the pandemic. And as part of the working force, she has the right to look for work.
She also elaborated that the transfer was done in a respectable way.
Direk Lauren Dyogi replaced Alberto as Star Magic head on January 1, 2021. The former Kapamilya executive was one of the people behind the discovery, development, and success of many of the country’s top talents.
