GMA Network launched its new All-Out Sundays‘ segment, Fresh Young Peeps, for up-and-coming Kapuso artists.
In the launching event for AOS‘s Fresh Young Peeps, artist Pamela Prinster described the segment.
“Fresh Young Peeps syempre is like a new part of AOS. Kind of introducing the newer artists and show off our talents. So, it’s just a fun new thing that we’ll be doing.”
Senior Program Manager Ruth Mariñas also detailed the purpose of the segment and its format in introducing new Kapuso artists.
“FYP is actually a segment that is dedicated to introducing new artists. Kasi we have a lot of new talents in GMA Artist Center. All talented, very young, very fresh kaya nga FYP yung napili naming segment.
“Sa ngayon, we only have AOS as the main venue for our performers, so we decided to come up with a segment.
“Now, with your questions about whether they will be regulars, we don’t know yet. Sa ngayon what we will do to give a chance to all of the talents that we have to give them a chance to be exposed to perform with our artist.”
The first batch of the Fresh Young Peeps includes Pamela Prinster, Mitzi Josh, Brianna, Sandro Muhlach, and Gabrielle Hahn. They start their segment in AOS this Sunday, June 27, 2021.
