Karina Bautista was really affected by the bashing and the issues that she faced, reaching the point that she cried.
Both my parents were away, wala akong masyadong support group, pandemya. So san ako pupunta? San ako tatakbo? So parang all I had was myself,” admitted Karina in an exclusive interview with LionhearTV on June 28.
She explained that her stint in ABS-CBN’s reality game show, Pinoy Big Brother resulted in people watching her every move. This was after she fell for her fellow housemate, now on-screen partner, Aljon Mendoza, despite being in a relationship back then.
Aside from the controversy, a Twitter serye between her and Andrea Brillantes began after the latter tweeted a cryptic message, “Once a cheater, always a cheater.”
Karina also took the time to clap back at her haters and critics. Quoting Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina, Karina used the hate, channeling it to become an even better artist.
“Pero all in all naman, it helped me kasi magagamit ko rin yun.
Recently, Karina became a talent of Star Magic after she signed a contract with them on June 19. She along with her fellow RISE artists such as Gigi De Lana, Zach Castaneda, Shanaia Gomez, Aljon Mendoza, Jayda, and JC Alcantara.
