Doris Bigornia’s daughter, Nikki, announced that her mother is at the hospital due to an infection months after the successful heart surgery.
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, June 30, Nikki shared that Bigornia had a medical complication, which made her a no-show in her TeleRadyo show, SRO.
“Sa mga nakaka-miss kay mommy @DorisBigornia sa SRO, nasa ospital po ulit siy. Nagkaroon po ng infection. May series of procedures siya in the coming days kaya we are asking for your prayers once again Maraming salamat po!” said Nikki.
She then asked the netizens for their prayers for the quick recovery of her mother.

To recall, Bigornia suffered from a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital in February 2021, where she had open-heart surgery.
On March 1, the ABS-CBN broadcaster was announced of having a successful surgery.
Doris returned to her TeleRadyo SRO on March 5, where she shared that she underwent triple heart bypass surgery. She also said that she needed to undergo regular dialysis due to kidney failure.
